Steel frame restaurant construction Cape Town

Banana Jam Cafe

We supplied the restaurant owner with a material package to build the first floor addition to his existing restaurant himself (conventional brick and mortar). The purpose of the added building was for a brewery and tasting room, the design brief stating the need to conform to the look of the area and its ‘heritage’ aesthetics.

PRIORITY:
Speed of construction, lightweight design, and less mess and waste were the key elements of the build. This was due to the restaurant still being operational during the build.
